C-D PROPOLIS CANDY 60g :: CODE 8202

Propolis Candy uses only pure standardised PROPOLIS Extracts . Each bag contains 20 x 3 g individually wrapped candy

The use of Propolis in Candy is a novel one - considering that Propolis tastes medicinal and can often be difficult to take.

Chalmers Dale is pleased to present our Candy which has been specially put together for a pleasant experience, while at the same time, soothes and freshes the mouth or throat. Added to the fact that we only use a very pure standardised extract, the candy offers a lot of attributes of Propolis itself - being antibacterial, deodorising - in general keeping our oral cavity clean and fresh at all times.

Taken during coughs and colds, Propolis Candy also assists in relieving nagging sore throats and helps in keeping your mouth moist and comfortable.

Why do people eat candy? Simple - it tastes good.

That’s the answer most people give. Yet it seems that when we do eat something just for the sheer delicious pleasure of it, guilt sets in. Pressure to improve our diets may be the cause for this reaction.

But there are no "perfect" foods, so why give up the taste? Just as no one food is the single key to health, no one food can be your downfall either. Your goal should be to select the greatest variety from all of the food groups. The real test of whether or not you have a healthy diet is your answer to the questions, "HOW MUCH?" and "HOW OFTEN?"

Chocolate and candy have been part of our food supply for thousands of years. And, we suspect that they will continue to be favorites for thousands of years to come. We hope you will better understand how candy can fit into your everyday diet.

MINTS

Mints, like licorice, have been around since the early times of man. The word mint comes from a Greek myth involving Hades, the god of the underworld. Hades was romantically involved with a nymph named Minthe. Persephone, Hades wife, was angered by this relationship and transformed Minthe into a plant, a sweet herb. Ancient Greeks placed mint leaves around the deceased to cover the smell and remind Hades of what he had done. Other cultures, however, had different uses for mint including using the herb in cuisines and medical remedies. Today, mint is used a variety of candies from jelly leaves to chewing gum. The hard candies typically referred to as mints come in a variety of flavors and styles.

HOW TO READ NUTRITIONAL DATA

When using the Percent Daily Values (% DV) found in the "Nutrition Facts" section on food information labels, it is important to keep in mind that they are based on a 2,000 calorie per day diet. Your own caloric requirements may be higher or lower depending on your age, sex, and activity level. For example, the recommended Daily Value for total fat, based on a 2,000 calorie diet, is 65 grams. Chalmers Dale Propolis Candy ( per bag of 20 x 3g) contains <20 grams of fat, which supplies approx. 30 percent of the Daily Value for a 2,000 calorie diet. It is recommended not to exceed a bag of candy per day.
