Within Australia:
Standard shipping costs are AUD$9.30 if the order total is under AUD$400.
When over AUD$400, shipping is FREE!
For International orders:
For orders up to AUD$400, shipping is AUD$40.00.
For international orders over AUD$400, shipping is FREE!
Please note that we can only ship to countries that are covered by Australia Post Registered Mail System/Australia Post Air Mail courier companies.
Delivery, Timing and Tax Tariffs
Chalmers Dale uses the Australia Post Registered Mail System to deliver orders. All parcels will be delivered to the address provided when ordering. Chalmers Dale does not accept responsibility of delays or issues caused by incorrect delivery addresses given, or partial addresses given. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure the delivery address is correct at the time of checkout.
Parcels will be dispatched the business day after the order is received (additional delays may be caused by public holidays and Christmas closures), if goods are in stock. However, when a dispatch is likely to be late due to a shortage of stock, or any other reason, we will be in communication with you immediately after your order is received.
All orders outside Australia are dispatched with Australia Post Air Mail. Most orders are expected to arrive within 15 - 20 business days from date of dispatch, although delays may be incurred due to the postal or customs systems of the receiving country. Should your package not arrive after this time, please e-mail enquiries@chalmersdale.com.au and we will be in contact with you.
Within Australia, regular mail is used. Mailing days are dictated by the delivery timetable of Australia Post. Chalmers Dale are not responsible for items sent with standard tracking that are lost, stolen or not received by the customer.

Returns Policy

No returns will be accepted unless authorised by a company representative.

All returns must have a Goods Return Authorisation* (GRA) number clearly shown on the external return packaging. A GRA number can be obtained via telephone through customer service. The issue of a GRA number does not mean that the returned goods will be accepted or a credit will be granted. Postage will be paid by the customer.

Returned goods must be in their original condition. Packaged goods must be unopened, unmarked and in a re-sellable condition. Goods must not be used, soiled or damaged. Chalmers Dale reserves the right to not accept any returned goods that do not comply with these terms and conditions. Chalmers Dale will only authorise a return if the goods are found to be faulty at the time of supply or if compliance is not possible.

Special order items (non standard stock lines), specifically ordered by Chalmers Dale at a customer’s request will not be accepted for return under any circumstances unless fault at the time of supply.

If goods are found to be faulty, Chalmers Dale will replace the product like for like.

Any ‘change of mind’ returns will not be permitted, as per the ACCC ‘consumer guarantee’ guidelines.

All returns for credit must be communicated to Chalmers Dale within 14 days of dispatch or discovery of a fault in the goods.

Chalmers Dale will provide a credit for returned goods only if a copy of the packing slip, invoice, or documentation showing the customer’s name, date of purchase and a notation clearly stating the reason for return is supplied.
* What is a GRA/Goods Return Authorisation? A Goods Return Authorisation (GRA) is a numbered authorisation provided by a company representative to permit the return of a product.
Restocking Fee
Chalmers Dale Pty Ltd reserves the right to charge a restocking fee on products returned. The standard restocking fee rate can be obtained at the time of requesting a return.
Tax and Tariffs (Information for customers in Japan)
When a package is sent to Japan, customs duty and a consumption tax are fundamentally imposed on the total goods amount. Although the taxes [18.3% of customs duties +5% of consumption taxes] = a total of 23.3%, is current, the payment of duties/taxes is dependent on each shipment and may be lower than actual regulation tax rates. Random checks are being conducted by the Japanese government and it depends on whether your shipment will be subject to further inspections. The responsibility of paying pay duties and meeting import regulations in Japan is your responsibility.
TAX & TARIFFS (INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE OF JAPAN)
Since the law of each country differs, please be aware of the relevant import, tax and tariff information in the country you live in. Chalmers Dale Pty Ltd are not responsible for any import taxes or tariffs. The responsibility of paying pay duties and meeting import regulations is your responsibility.
MAXIMUM PURCHASE QUANTITY (INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS)
It is up to the customer to check what the maximum quantities can be purchased for import into your country. Chalmers Dale Pty Ltd are not responsible for any issues caused by orders over the maximum allowed quantities.
CONVERSION RATES
All goods are listed in Australian Dollars ($AUD). The conversion rate at the time of credit card use is dependent on your card issuer at the time of purchase.. Current conversion rates are indicated on xe.net/ucc.
